This memorial fund honors our beloved friend, mentor and teacher, Nancy Hanks Burnett. Her name will be among the first engraved butterflies displayed in the brand new Children's Memorial Garden of Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington, NC.

Nancy's butterfly will hover in the center of the Children's Garden in the Gazebo which houses the Butterfly & Chrysalis statue as a symbol of rebirth. The four gardens that surround the Gazebo are The Garden of Love, The Garden of Joy, The Garden of Radiance, and The Garden of Innocence. Atlanta Carrera of Atlanta's ART dedicates her "Harmony" print and her poem, "In The Garden" to Hospice in honor of Nancy and her great love of poetry!
